Sony A1 II

The Sony A1 II is Sony's flagship full-frame body. Its 50MP stacked sensor shoots up to 30 frames a second with full autofocus tracking, and it records 8K 30p and 4K up to 120p video. It suits jobs that need resolution and speed from one camera: sport, wildlife, fashion, events and campaign shoots that mix stills and video. AI subject recognition covers people, animals, birds, insects and vehicles, and Pre-Capture saves up to a second of frames before the full shutter press, so late reactions still get the shot. Stabilisation is rated to 8.5 stops at the centre, the 3.2-inch screen tilts and flips out, and the deeper grip keeps long lenses comfortable. Video is 10-bit 4:2:2 with S-Log3 and S-Cinetone. One thing to know: above 20fps it records lossy compressed raw only, so for critical stills, shoot at 20fps or below in lossless compressed. It's E-mount, with two slots that each take CFexpress Type A or SD, and runs on NP-FZ100 batteries. For sport and wildlife we'd pair it with the Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens or the Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens, and for portraits the Sony 50mm f1.2. Bursts at 30fps use cards and power quickly, so extra Sony NPZ 100 Batteries are worth adding.
