DJI Osmo 360 (Adventure Combo)

The DJI Osmo 360 is a compact 360-degree camera that records everything around it at once, so you choose the framing in the edit. We hire it for travel and adventure content, venue and property walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes coverage and social clips that call for sweeping, third-person moves a conventional camera can't easily make. It records 360-degree video at up to 8K and 50fps, and can also shoot through a single lens at up to 5K when you just want a standard wide shot. Built-in storage plus a microSD slot gives you room for a long day, and it's waterproof to 10 metres without a housing. The thing to plan for is the workflow: 360 footage has to go through DJI's app or desktop software to be reframed and exported before it goes into a normal edit, so allow time for that, and keep important subjects away from the stitch line at the sides of the camera. There's a 1/4-inch thread on the base as well as DJI's quick-release clips, and it charges over USB-C. A DJI Mic 3 transmitter connects directly, with no receiver needed. Pair it with the DJI Mic 3, a Power Bank for long days and the Small basic Tripod for static shots. Collection from West Hampstead, London. Tested, cleaned and charged before every hire.
